Today is the last day of learning for the cartoon challenge. I'll do a live recording of caricature drawing of a friend of mine as the final test tomorrow morning.
It turns out my decision to use caricature drawing as the test might not have been the best, because the caricature drawing style is quite different from the practices I've done so far. However, after the initial freakout, I broke down some finished caricatures and realised the work I've done still serves as a good basis. I just have to make the eyes, mouth and hair a bit more realistic looking.
So far, having the commitment to share my work daily has been a great incentive to keep up with the momentum even on days I'm tired and less motivated. So thank you for being my accountability partners!
