Action Poses

· Challenges

Human bodies have turned out to be quite hard to draw. The screenshots below doesn't show the original pencil sketches, because I made a lot of changes when inking things in. While there is no 'correct' proportion in cartoons, there is still aesthetics.  Tomorrow, I will spend an hour just practising sketching out the guidelines of different action figures.

I feel rather comfortable now with expressions and cartoon accessories. Besides action poses, perspectives, backgrounds and shadows will also be on the agenda for tomorrow's practice. Plus, a bit more work on hands and various body shapes. The day after tomorrow will be practising making the cartoons funny.
